Here's some of my photos from the Tampa concert at the St. Pete Times Forum on January 29th.....we were lucky to have front row seats right under one of his mics...also visited with some friends before the concert and Ellen and her friend Kathy had seats next to ours....we had a blast!!!
When George first walked over to the 4th mic in the rotation (where Ellen and I were standing at the railing under his mic) he smiled and waved at us before starting to sing "Run"....I didn't know until later that my hub had snapped a photo as he was looking and smiling down at me...what a thrill....it's always a grait moment to make eye contact with King George, but the fact he recognized me (and Ellen too!) and smiled and made the point of waving at us made it that much more special....:) Thanks George for this wonderful memory!!!!
I snapped this one while he was singing Seashores....look at that chin scar...and those lips....YUM......
It's important to be prepared folks....so when the King looks at YOU this way, you can take a photo and forever remember that moment in time....sigh.....
I'm so proud of this pic....LOL....first of all that tight butt....and then the CURLS!!! He's got long curls again.....yummy.....
More hunkyness....:)...oh and he was banging the guitar...love it when he does that....
Pointing at some of the girls on the mid-level rows while singing "How 'bout Them Cowgirls"....the screens above put images of the fans and they see themselves there....how cool is that!!!!
My digital camera blurred this one a bit but I had to put it here...it was at the end of "Cowgirls" when he says "how about 'em boys!"...and he stretches his arms out like that...and the crowd just screams....love it....he looks so cute...even blurry....;)
He looked down at me again but the camera snapped it a bit early before his eyes reached my lens....sigh...no matter....I love this pic....those lips....mmm...mmm....
Ellen and I were zipping back and forth between our mic and the one to our right....I took these two (above and below) in front of that other mic...surprisingly, security was allowing fans to take as many pics as they wanted and many were standing in front of the railing all around the stage....I'm sure it's nicer for George that way 'cause the fans are closer to him and he can interact with us more....;)
