Photos taken at Gillette Stadium on May 31st....King George performed for 56,000 fans who braved the cold wind to see him in the New England area for what's likely to be his last appearance there....and they were not disappointed....fans reported it was an excellent concert....with Tim and Faith opening and later singing 2 duets each with the King....
Sweet look on George's face...and that tan....and those creases.....WOW!!!!
George and Tim sang "Nobody in His Right Mind Would've Left Her" and "I Can Still Make Cheyenne"....Tim is such a fan...he's often said that if you want to show someone who's never heard country music what it should sound like, he would play them a George Strait album....what a grait thing to say ...:)
George and Faith sang "A Showman's Life" and "Let's Fall to Pieces Together"...during the middle of the 2nd song, Faith  started singing before she was supposed to...she told the crowd she was "so damn nervous"....which is not surprising...she's often told the story of her brother driving her to Houston Rodeo to see George when she was a teenager and having a, quote,  "huge crush" on him and her dream of someday opening for the King...well, she realized her dream years ago and now got to sing with him....can't blame her for being nervous....after she left the stage George told the fans Faith got him "flustered"....LOL
All the girls there had to be a bit jealous....Faith got a sweet hug and kiss from George....:)
